Dr. Hom-Lay Wang, DDS, MSD, PhD, is a Professor and Director of Graduate Periodontics at the University of Michigan. He has co-authored six textbooks, more than 60 book chapters or lectures, and has published over 800 scientific articles.
Dr. Wang is a Board of Trustees member for the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), the Chair of the Global Development Committee and the Global Education Committee for the Academy of Osseointegration (AO). He is also a board member of the Academy of Osseointegration Foundation (AOF).
He is a Diplomate and past Chair and Director of the American Board of Periodontology. Additionally, he is Co-Editor-in-Chief of Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related Research, Associate Editor for the International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Implants and the Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Research.
Dr. Wang is also a Section Editor for the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry and a founding editorial board member of Clinical Advances in Periodontics.
