Abstract

The Advanced Periodontal/Implant Surgery: A Practical Training Course is an intensive, clinically focused program designed for dental professionals seeking mastery in the latest surgical techniques for implant and periodontal therapy. Participants will explore foundational and advanced microsurgical concepts, study innovative approaches to sinus augmentation and observe real-time surgeries led by distinguished faculty.

Through lectures, live demonstrations and hands-on activities, attendees gain practical insights into alveolar ridge preservation, immediate implant placement, bone augmentation, peri-implant disease management, and soft-tissue considerations essential for long-term esthetic and functional success.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand and apply fundamental principles of periodontal and implant microsurgery.

  • Evaluate and execute advanced implant flap designs to enhance long-term implant stability.

  • Perform step-by-step sinus augmentation procedures, including osteotome and lateral window approaches.

  • Implement predictable techniques in horizontal and vertical bone augmentation using modern GBR protocols.

  • Apply current methods for alveolar ridge preservation and immediate implant placement.

  • Recognize and manage implant complications, including peri-implantitis and sinus-related challenges.

  • Improve esthetic outcomes through soft-tissue grafting around implants and management of esthetic complications.

  • Integrate digital and AI-based innovations into treatment planning and surgical execution.

  • Confidently select ideal implant systems based on case analysis and long-term prognostic factors.

  • Refine surgical skills through observation of live surgeries and hands-on practical exercises.

Bone regeneration

Horizontal and Vertical Bone Regeneration

Join us for a 2-day training with Dr. Marco Ronda about bone augmentation techniques, such as Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR), which allows for the restoration of lost volumes, thus enabling successful aesthetic and functional implant-prosthetic rehabilitation.
