Dr. Maurice Salama completed his undergraduate studies in biology at the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1985. Subsequently, he earned his DMD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Following this, he undertook a one-year general practice and surgical residency at Maimonides Medical Center, where he attained the position of Chief Resident.
Dr. Salama returned to the University of Pennsylvania to achieve dual specialty certification in Orthodontics and Periodontics. Currently, Dr. Salama holds the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania and Dental College of Georgia.
He is a founding member and permanent member of the Scientific Committee of DENTALXP.com.
Dr. Salama is also a legacy member of the Team Atlanta Dental Practice and has an extensive publication record, including scientific papers, book chapters, and periodicals in peer-reviewed journals. He is recognized as a keynote and featured speaker at dental conferences globally.
