The Post-Graduate Program in Advanced Laser Dentistry is an international, practice-oriented educational experience designed for dental professionals who aim to master the scientific, technological, and clinical dimensions of laser-assisted dentistry. Held across three European academic and training centers—Bucharest, Ljubljana, and Genova—the program offers a comprehensive journey from foundational physics to full clinical integration.
Led by world-renowned experts, the curriculum blends evidence-based theory with guided hands-on sessions, ensuring participants acquire both conceptual clarity and real-life clinical competence.
Laser technology has reshaped contemporary dentistry, introducing new standards of precision, minimally invasive intervention, and biologically guided treatment. From improving patient comfort to elevating clinical predictability, lasers have become essential tools across multiple dental disciplines. However, to apply these technologies safely and effectively, clinicians need more than basic operational knowledge—they require a structured educational pathway that links the physics of photonic energy with real-world clinical protocols. This program provides that connection, guiding participants from scientific foundations to confident, evidence-based clinical execution.
This module introduces the core principles of laser physics and photonic energy, explaining how laser light behaves and interacts with biological tissues. Participants learn about the main dental laser systems, safety standards, and fiber-handling techniques, building a solid scientific foundation through theory and introductory hands-on practice.
Focused on clinical use, this module explores how different wavelengths act on enamel, dentine, soft tissues, and periodontal structures. Through lectures and guided practical sessions, participants learn to perform restorative, surgical, periodontal, implant-related, and PBM procedures safely and effectively, integrating lasers into a wide range of therapeutic scenarios.
The final module emphasizes clinical mastery. Through the Genoa Concept of Photobiomodulation, esthetic procedures, protocol planning, case analysis, and simulations, participants refine their clinical judgement and laser selection skills. The program concludes with examinations and guided discussions that prepare clinicians to implement laser technologies confidently and professionally in daily practice.
Ljubljana welcomes you with its charming old town, graceful bridges stretching across the Ljubljanica River, and a relaxed, green atmosphere that feels instantly inviting. Riverside cafés, pedestrian walkways, and the hilltop castle offer a beautiful environment for exploration. The city’s blend of cultural heritage, friendly local energy, and accessible design makes it an ideal setting for immersive learning.
Genova captivates visitors with its labyrinth of medieval alleyways, historic harbor, and impressive Renaissance palaces—living reflections of its maritime legacy. Its dynamic street life, world-class museums, and authentic Ligurian cuisine create a rich backdrop where history meets contemporary innovation. For participants, Genova offers both academic excellence and a culturally vibrant experience.
At the end of the program, participants will receive an official diploma issued by the University of Genova—a credential that attests not only to the completion of the curriculum but to the acquisition of advanced theoretical and clinical competencies in laser dentistry.
This diploma reflects international academic standards and formally recognizes the practitioner’s ability to integrate laser technologies safely, effectively, and with scientific precision into everyday clinical practice.
Join us for a 2-day training with Dr. Marco Ronda about bone augmentation techniques, such as Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR), which allows for the restoration of lost volumes, thus enabling successful aesthetic and functional implant-prosthetic rehabilitation.
