Lecturer on Oral Medicine Infection and Immunity
Dr. Jessica Latimer earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She completed her specialty training in periodontology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she also earned a Doctor of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology with honors.
A recipient of the Harvard Division of Periodontology Fellowship, the American Academy of Periodontology Clinical Impact and Clinical Science awards, and the Harvard Presidential Scholarship, Dr. Latimer is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology. She is also part of the founding leadership team of the National Osteology Group USA division.
As a clinician-scientist, Dr. Latimer is committed to advancing periodontology through predoctoral and postgraduate education, translational research, and clinical care in the Greater Boston area.
