In the esthetic zone, bone augmentation has traditionally been considered a crucial component of achieving optimal outcomes in cases with deficient ridge structures. However, recent advancements in non-surgical techniques have opened new possibilities for both clinicians and patients, offering less invasive alternatives with predictable results. This presentation explores a range of innovative approaches that bypass the need for surgical bone augmentation. Key methods such as soft tissue ridge augmentation, orthodontic neogenesis, partial extraction therapy (PET), and the use of artificial gingiva will be discussed. These alternatives not only address deficiencies in the alveolar ridge but also provide a more conservative approach to maintaining and enhancing esthetic outcomes in challenging cases.
